About the Role
We are looking for an experienced NetSuite Functional Consultant with strong expertise in NetSuite ERP implementation, configuration, business process mapping, and functional support. The ideal candidate should be able to understand business requirements, translate them into NetSuite solutions, and work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and clients to ensure successful implementation and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and clients.
  • Translate business requirements into functional solutions within NetSuite ERP.
  • Configure and customize NetSuite based on business and process requirements.
  • Work across key NetSuite modules including Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Inventory, CRM, and Financials.
  • Conduct business process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Configure forms, fields, workflows, roles, permissions, dashboards, and transaction processes.
  • Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Work closely with technical teams to explain functional requirements and validate technical solutions.
  • Support NetSuite implementation, configuration, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases, and support SIT/UAT.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve functional issues and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Support data migration, data validation, CSV imports, and reconciliation activities.
  • Configure and optimize Saved Searches, reports, dashboards, KPIs, and SuiteAnalytics based on business requirements.
  • Provide user training, prepare training materials, and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular updates on project progress and issues.
  • Provide ongoing functional support and participate in NetSuite enhancements and release updates.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of NetSuite with third-party applications.
Required Skills
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience as a NetSuite Functional Consultant.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP configuration and implementation.
  • Good knowledge of O2C, P2P, Inventory, CRM, and Financial processes.
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and solution design.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite workflows, forms, fields, roles, permissions, and transaction configurations.
  • Experience with Saved Searches, Reports, Dashboards, KPIs, and SuiteAnalytics.
  • Experience in UAT, SIT, testing, defect management, and post-go-live support.
  • Good understanding of data migration and CSV imports.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with business users, clients, functional teams, and technical teams.
Good to Have
  • Experience in end-to-end NetSuite implementation projects.
  • Exposure to SuiteScript, REST APIs, SuiteTalk, or third-party integrations.
  • Experience with eCommerce integrations such as Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite OneWorld, multi-subsidiary, multi-currency, and taxation.
  • NetSuite certification will be an added advantage.
  • Experience working in client-facing consulting environments.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should have a strong combination of NetSuite functional expertise and business process knowledge, with the ability to independently handle requirements gathering, configuration, testing, implementation, and user support. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential for this role.
